There is no wrong choice for a hotel in Tamarindo. Here are some of our favorites.

There will be a room block available for our guests who wish to stay at Tamarindo Diria Resort. Please follow the below link to reserve your room at a special rate. We will be there Thursday to Monday. Note from Diria: Please remember that on the process of booking the rooms, guests will get asked for credit card information, just for holding the reservations, the real payment will happen when we send the payment link 60 days prior to arrival. The cut-off date for the room block is December 1st.We recommend booking at your earliest convenience to ensure the best room selection.

Best Western. You know the vibes. Budget friendly and the closest hotel to the wedding venue. Also, Crazy Monkey Bar is literally located on the roof of the building. Go crazy.

If you choose to make a trip out of your stay...here are our recommendations...

Start your mornings off right by visiting our favorite breakfast spot in Costa Rica, Portofino, a family-owned Italian restaurant. The pancakes and ham-and-cheese croissant are a must!

Hit the beach obviously. Don't forget sunscreen and cervezas.

Warning: surfing is harder than it looks! Walk down the beach and you are sure to find someone offering lessons.P.S. Yes, that is the groom shredding it.

Chili Guardo's is your perfect day drinking destination. Best of all, it's surrounded by food trucks!

Make it to a beach restaurant by around 5pm so you don't miss the sunset.

The red snapper at La Palapa is unbeatable.

Or try horseback riding at sunset. Truly majestic.

Respect the lizards.

Walk down the beach at night to see a fire show.

Enjoy the nightlife in Tamarindo. Our favorites include Sharky's, Rumors, and El Garito. See you at Crazy Monkey Bar on Friday night!

If you make it over to La Fortuna, be sure to go zip lining! La Fortuna is home to the tallest zipline in Costa Rica - 600 feet in the air!

And canyoning! This was nuts. Get ready to repel down a 180-foot waterfall, and then 5 more waterfalls after that! Including the Monkey Drop…

The hotel we stayed at in La Fortuna, Volcano Lodge Hotel and Thermal Experience, has tons of hot springs pools and hot tubs!
